One of the things that marks the start of Christmas for me is my regular trip to help out with the Hitchin Christian Centre’s Nativity celebration. This year the theme of the services is “The Big Celebration”, and as in previous years I was asked to run a fun photo shoot for the congregation to remember the day.

After weeks of work (and several months of procrastinating) I’m pleased to announce that my new web site is up and running. Let me give you a tour of the new site and it’s features;
It’s always good to get a repeat job, and to be asked back to cover another Hitchin Symphony Orchestra concert gives the added bonus of the chance to listen to some fantastic classical music. Continue reading
I recently had a call from 2 friends asking if I could help them with a Thank You gift for Paul Rivett three times Clio Cup Champion. This is the story of the special image I put together for them.
In mid October my girlfriend and I were invited to join her parents for a long weekend in the Seaside town of Lyme Regis. An early finish on Friday, a detour to High Wycombe to deliver a framed print (see Paul Rivett Special), and 4 hours in the car got us there safe and sound and in good time to enjoy the weekend. Although not specifically a photography weekend that didn’t stop me from packing camera, tripod and lenses with the hope of getting some shots of the picturesque harbour and town. Following on from a Birthday party photo shoot in December 2013 I was asked to produce a series of portrait shots for the Harrington family. The Harrington’s were able to come to my studio one Sunday morning and we quickly produced a range of shots (including a business portrait for Dad), ready to use as family gifts. In addition to the more usual portrait shots I also took some fun shots using inflatable instruments to turn the Harrington’s into a Rock Band!
